Register NowShowdown Masters is a tournament format for team-based PvP shooters in which up to six players, split into two teams, compete against each other using full-body VR tracking. Games are developed by TrueVRSystems.
First launched in 2018 as the world's inaugural full-body VR tournament, Showdown Masters welcomes everyone from beginners to dedicated esports professionals. Minimum age: 12 years (ages 12–16 require a legal guardian).
Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned esports competitor, there's a format for you.
Designed for casual players without competitive esports organization experience and without a prior top-10 finish in a Showdown Masters qualifier. Open to all skill levels — perfect for first-time VR tournament participants.
For esports organizations and professional players with previous Showdown Masters participation or a top-10 qualification. High competitive skill level required. Teams compete with prior tournament experience.
Three unique environments, each with its own tactical challenges.
An abandoned military base. Classic tactical VR combat in close-quarters environments.
A bustling Middle Eastern market. Wide sightlines and fast-paced mid-range encounters.
Dense urban setting with vertical play. Fast movement and flanking routes.
Teams attempt to tag opposing players. Tagged players become neutralised and must return to their home base to respawn. The team with the most tags at the end of the round wins.
Sensors on your backpack, goggles, gun, hands and feet represent your real-time movements in VR.
Single elimination system. Up to 64 teams. Finals in Best-of-2 format.
Teams of exactly two registered players. One player per team maximum.
Each team may substitute 1 player once during the entire tournament.
