1. General Information and Definitions

1.1 Teams and Players

A team is defined as a group of exactly two players who have registered on the Battlefy or other tournament management service homepage and paid the participation fee on the Fusion Arena homepage. The game schedule with the team's opponents will be announced after the registration phase. Each player can play for only one team at a time. Registration for multiple teams is prohibited. All involved teams will be disqualified if such a case occurs.

1.2 Game Formats

We differentiate between “Grümpi” tournaments for the casual player and “Pro” tournaments for the professional, ambitious player. Who do we consider a “Pro” player and or team? If you’re unsure about your status, please contact us to clarify.

3. Tournament Procedure

3.1. Tournament Organization

<DEPENDING ON GAME>

Max 64 Teams

Single Elimination System. Winner advances to the next round. Loser is eliminated from the tournament.

If the small final cannot be played due to time constraints, third place goes to the team with the most points.

The team with the most points wins.

If two teams tie, the team with the player who scored the most points alone wins. If this result is also a tie, the team with the 2nd player who scored the most points alone wins. If this result is also a tie, the total score decides the winner (total score is added up from points, accuracy, and former games if necessary if the final game is again a tie).

3.2. Game Details

All matches in the 1st qualifying round are single matches. The team that wins the match advances to the next round.

All matches in the 2nd qualifying round are best of 2. The team that wins both rounds against the same team or has the better score in case of a draw will advance to the next round.

On the final day, eighth finals and quarter-finals are single matches. Semifinals and finals are best of 2.

The game has to be played according to the game plan and/or the staff, which will be announced at least one week before the start of the qualification on our homepage as well as in the Discord channel.

3.3 Match Procedure

Both opposing teams must be ready and present 15 minutes before the start of the match according to the match schedule. If a team is not fully present 5 minutes before the start of the match, the match is considered lost. There is no right to repeat the match.

At the end of the match in progress, the REF will explain again to both teams the general rules of conduct, i.e. no cheating, running, etc.

Before the match starts, teams will receive their equipment and will be led to their position once the current match is over.

At the end of the game, both teams return to the backpack stations and return the equipment.

3.3.1 Premature End of the Game

If a player of a team cannot play the game anymore, the whole team has lost the game.

Interruption of the game is not planned and will be given only if the referee allows it.

If the technical difficulties occur in the third phase of the game, the whole round ends prematurely and the team with the most points wins and moves on to the next round.
